How this website and the planned app handle information.

Gallerin has not launched publicly. This policy describes the introduction website and the planned app. It will be checked against the released features and provider settings before launch.

Website visits and support

Cloudflare Pages delivers this static website. We do not install visitor analytics, advertising pixels, account forms or newsletter forms. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request and technical information to deliver and secure the site. The app’s advertising and billing SDKs do not run on this website.

If you email us, we process your email address, request and voluntarily attached materials to respond. Messages arrive through Google Gmail. General support messages are deleted within 90 days after resolution. Material required by law or for an ongoing dispute is retained separately for the necessary period. Do not send sensitive photos, coordinates or payment-card details without a specific need.

Photos and on-device records

The app is designed without mandatory sign-in or a proprietary photo server. Photo and video content, coordinates, recognised text and masking rules are not sent to the operator’s servers or advertising and billing providers. Access is limited to photos permitted by the operating system. Unreadable metadata is not treated as verified absence.

Review decisions, resume state, settings, usage, reward records and operation outcomes remain in app-private storage. Supported on-device detection is user-initiated and its results need review. Face detection identifies candidate regions to mask, not identities or biometric profiles. Custom text rules are encrypted on-device and can be removed.

Copies and local retention

A swipe alone does not change an original. Masks and selected metadata exclusions apply to a copy, and processed-copy sharing stops if verification fails. Original sharing is a separate, unprocessed action. Receiving apps and recipients control their subsequent handling of shared files.

With full media permission, Android gallery thumbnails may be cached within limits of 64 MiB, 256 entries and 24 hours; permission and file state are checked before reuse. Temporary sharing copies normally become eligible for cleanup after 24 hours at the next run or cleanup opportunity, excluding active shares. Cleanup can be delayed while the app is inactive. Copies saved to a library or by recipients are outside this cleanup.

Clearing visible completed history retains the minimum records needed for pending decisions, unconfirmed outcomes, usage and safe recovery. Operating system app-data removal or uninstall can remove local data, but does not delete library originals or cancel subscriptions. Operating system backups and store records follow their providers’ settings and policies.

Purchases and optional ads

The planned app uses Apple App Store or Google Play and RevenueCat for purchases, restoration and entitlement checks. Purchase history, an anonymous app-user identifier and app/device information needed for validation may be transmitted. Stores handle payment methods. We do not attach photo content or masking rules to purchases.

Optional rewarded ads use Google AdMob. The app checks UMP consent status and requests non-personalised ads. IP addresses, ad interactions, diagnostics and identifiers may be processed for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-personalised ads or limits on advertising IDs do not mean no data is collected. Photo content, coordinates, paths, recognised text and masking rules are not included in ad or reward requests.

The basic gallery and free allowance do not require ad viewing. Where supported, ad privacy choices can be reopened in settings. Operating system cloud-original downloads, billing and advertising can use a network connection; the app is not entirely network-free.

Providers and international processing

Cloudflare (website delivery and security), Google (Gmail support, Play billing and AdMob), Apple (App Store billing), and RevenueCat (purchase validation and entitlements) process information for their services. They may use infrastructure and processors outside your country, including the United States. Their roles, retention and international-transfer terms depend on the service agreements and information below. Required regional notices and consent procedures will be checked against the actual app configuration before release.

Your requests and policy changes

Email support to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or withdrawal of consent as applicable under law. We may request the minimum verification needed to handle a request. We cannot remotely access on-device photos or records we have not received. Provider-controlled records may also require using the provider’s request process.

Gallerin is intended for teenagers and adults and is not directed at children. Contact support if a child’s information has been included in a request. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date and notice on this page, with additional notice or consent where required.
